This Privacy Policy explains how Periplanisi ("I", "me", "my") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit periplanisi.store or place an order. I am committed to handling your data responsibly and in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible for your data

Periplanisi, operated by an independent silversmith based in Valencia, Spain, is the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy-related requests, contact orders@periplanisi.store.

What data I collect

Depending on how you interact with the site, I may collect:

Information you provide directly — your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and phone number when you place an order or contact me. Payment is processed securely by my payment provider; I do not see or store your full card details.

Information collected automatically — when you browse the site, certain data is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and how you arrived at the site. This is used to keep the site working and to understand how visitors use it.

How I use your data

I use your personal data to:

  • Process and fulfil your orders, including shipping and delivery

  • Communicate with you about your order or enquiries

  • Provide customer support

  • Improve the website and understand how it's used

  • Comply with my legal and tax obligations as a business in Spain

Legal basis for processing

Under GDPR, I process your data on the following legal bases: to fulfil a contract with you (processing your order), to comply with legal obligations (tax and accounting records), with your consent (analytics cookies), and for my legitimate interests (keeping the site secure and functioning).

The site uses cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site and checkout functioning and cannot be switched off. With your consent, I also use analytics cookies — Wix Analytics and Google Analytics — to understand how visitors use the site so I can improve it.

Who I share your data with

I do not sell your personal data. I share it only with trusted third parties who help me run the business, including:

  • Wix — my website and e-commerce platform, which hosts the site and processes orders and payments

  • Payment providers — Wix Payments (and Stripe, if connected) to process transactions securely

  • Correos — my shipping carrier, which receives your name and address to deliver your order

  • Google Analytics — to understand how the site is used, where you have consented

These providers process data on my behalf and are required to protect it. Some may process data outside the EU; where that happens, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

How long I keep your data

I keep order and transaction data for as long as required by Spanish tax and commercial law (generally up to 6 years). Other data, such as contact enquiries, is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate data

  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")

  • Object to or restrict certain processing

  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

Data Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your personal data. Payments and data transmission on the site are encrypted, and access to your data is limited to what's necessary to run the business. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but I work to protect your information using industry-standard practices provided through my platform.

Children's Privacy

This site is not intended for children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
